About Us

Travel Concepts is a company with a fresh approach to group travel. There is nothing “off the shelf” about the programs we develop – whether for an affinity group sponsored by a nonprofit organization, a private group of family or friends, or an individual celebrating a signature moment or fulfilling a lifelong dream. We provide customized services and unique experiences for groups looking for more from their travels than simply seeing the sights or passing the time.

Founded in 1996, Travel Concepts is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and is owned and operated by industry veteran Carol Young.

Company founder Carol J. Young has 20 years of experience as both an educational travel planner and tour operator. As former deputy director of the Stanford Alumni Association Travel/Study program and vice president of two educational travel companies, she has extensive destination experience and a special awareness of educational and service needs.
